Nerantza Beach
MK589
About This Work
Pale sand arcs along the Nerantza shore, the sea stretching flat and cerulean toward low coastal hills in the distance.
The whole world here seems held in the quiet of midday. That long line of the shore guides you outward, past the sand to those soft coastal hills. The sea breathes in cerulean and deeper teals, broken by touches of white where light catches the surface. It’s so calm. The beach holds all those warm ochres, with a little terracotta and sage in the low vegetation. See how the sky and water are smooth, but the sand has a drier, rougher texture from the brush. Any people are just incidental, leaving the coast to its own rhythm. Heat sits over everything, slow and patient, and time seems to rest at the edge of the water.
