Night View from My Studio with Snow

About This Work
Snow on clay tiles in Greece — rare, and here it has settled. A few amber windows push back against the cold, just.
A deep quiet settles over the whole town, seen from just inside a window. The whitewashed walls and clay roofs step back in soft tiers, falling into a deeper night. Look at the colors—cool blues and silvery grays carry the snow, broken only by small glows of amber from a few windows. Just enough warmth. The moonlight is so soft, it blurs the edges where stone meets snow. Shadows pool quietly along the eaves. A silence sits over the rooftops, slow and unhurried. It feels like a night holding its breath.
