Zagora Houses View from Hotel

About This Work
Zagora sits below a hotel terrace — dense rooftops, white walls, cobalt shutters, the midday sun flattening everything into calm.
A kind of sleepy warmth hangs over the whole village. The eye just drifts from here, across all the houses, out to that soft blue in the distance. The walls are these warm, crisp whites, punctuated by that deep cobalt blue on a shutter or a door. And see how the shadows aren't harsh at all—just soft grays, with a hint of lavender. It lets the light feel like it's everywhere. The paint is so steady on the clean lines of the houses, but it loosens and breathes in the earth between them. A drowsy quiet settles over it all, holding the hour in place.
