Zagora Mist
M2113
About This Work
The ochre hills of Zagora recede into a silver-blue mist that enters from the left, gradually dissolving ridge after ridge.
The whole landscape seems to be holding its breath. Down here, closer to us, the ground is a mix of dry-brushed grays and umber. Your eye follows a soft line back into the hills, where the ridges lose their edges and dissolve into pale morning light. You can feel the brushwork soften with the distance, becoming as smooth as the air itself. And the light… it’s not sharp. It comes from the left, broad and diffuse, gently shaping the land before it fades into silhouette. There are no people, no buildings—just terrain and weather speaking quietly to each other. A hush settles over the valley, and time slows to the pace of drifting cloud.
