Zagora, Square, Sunset
MK191
About This Work
Zagora's square catches the last sun—shadows lean long across the cobblestones while the walls shift from white to peach.
A quiet has settled over this whole square. It’s that last, warm moment before evening. See how the light comes in low from the side, stretching those long shadows across the cobblestones and pulling you right toward the buildings at the center? The warm glow washes over every wall, but then you find these cool blues and lavenders resting in the shade. I love that little flash of cobalt on a shutter—it just anchors that whole corner. The paint itself almost breathes. It’s laid on thick for sun-warmed stone, then thins to a soft haze over the hills. Evening just settles here, and the air holds all that quiet.
